I Pk testing: Teacher
will begin the lesson by discussing the
Naming words:
- What is your name?
- Are you a boy or girl?
- Who all are there in your family?
- What do you want to become when you grow up?
- Where do you go to study?
- Where do you live?
- Which places do you like to visit?
- Where do we go to see the animals?
- Which is your favorite animal?
- Which animal would you like to keep as a pet?
- What do you like to eat?
- What is your favorite toy?
- Do you write with a pen or pencil?
Announcement of the Topic: After this discussion teacher will
announce the topic by saying ,” Well students today we will learn about Naming
words.
Activity II: Teacher will explain to the students that Naming
words can be common or special. All boys, girls, men, women and pets have
special name. words like boy, girl, man, woman and dog are common names. Words
like Ashok and Anna are special names. Some pet animals are also given special
names. For example, adog can called Jimmy. Similarly, some places, monuments,
festivals, months and days have special names. Read the examples:-
Places: America, India, Japan, Delhi
Monuments: Taj Mahal, Red fort, Charminar
Festivals: Holi, Christmas, Eid, Gurpurab
Months and days: May, October, Sunday, Friday
Activity III Teacher will Use flashcards
to review again what a noun is, and will teach the class the definition. Then, teacher
will direct the students to use the
nouns in a sentences.
- She will
take test of students verbally by
giving examples and nouns.
- Direct
the students to give a thumbs up or
thumbs down on the right and wrong uses of nouns that you give.
- Enrichment: Use nouns
in a class story, and make it into a play to demonstrate in front of the
class.
- Support: Have students point to
the nouns in the class instead of writing them.
